[the clatter of glasses and various noises of low conversation is heard above the sound of rain--now she's addressing the book directly.] It's slow today too. But at least people are still showing up.

I...really hate all this rain. It's been raining since I got here. [a sigh]

I wonder if it'll ever stop. Che, maybe it's better Himemiya isn't here.

The sharp hissing of a roaring fire fills the hot air, with police keeping onlookers a safe distance away and a squadron of firefighters already on the call. They hurry to and fro in front of a building on fire.

There aren't many fires in this region, and the local fire department is very short-handed. When they get a new addition (who looks suspiciously like Mizuno Ami if a clear view could be had, but the equipment obscures her face) a couple stare.

"Did you come from another department?"

"Ah... yes!" Ami hurries away after the lie.

She could quench the fire if water would be alright, but she isn't sure what started this or what all's been ignited by now. It could make it worse instead. Fortunately, the teletia-S disguise gives her the training she needs. And at least it's one more man - er, woman. Even if she looks too small next to the others.

She pitches in alongside the rest, making up for her lack of real experience by sticking to directions from the fire chief. Join the fire crew, too? Rescue people? Make the real fire department think they're seeing double?

Ah, chaos!

It's been a while since you've been so exciting, Rivelata. Seeing the lot of you scramble about reminds me of seeing the English running from falling bombs, which in turn reminds me of insects scurrying about from beneath an overturned rock...
